the dreaded sell-out...

An item in my cart sold out! How?!

My website is built using Shopify. Shopify does not retain a shopping cart. This means that if two people are shopping for an item that there is only one of, whoever makes it through checkout first will get the item.

I understand this can be frustrating and disheartening, though it feels the same to spend several weeks creating as much as I physically can to then be yelled at for something selling out. I am a one-woman show.

This is why you'll see me constantly say on my social media channels, "be there or be sad." The majority of my drops are advertised well in advance on my Facebook page and Instagram.

PRO-TIP: I highly suggest setting a reminder on your phone if I'm dropping something you're after, and plan to be there when it drops. Some of my quickest sell-outs happen in under a minute.

I truly value and appreciate that I have gotten to a point in my career where sell-outs are happening as frequently as they are. I am constantly making sacrifices in my personal life to continue to create as much as I can for my drops. Thank you for understanding and continuing to shop!

custom orders

Yes, for one-of-a-kind pieces. I do not take orders for items in sold-out collections.

If you're looking for a custom set, the process can take 2-4 weeks. This is dependent on what you're looking for and the time of year/my capacity. I do not accept custom orders between October-December as it is my busy season.

Custom order inquiries can be sent to onyxandivoryhandmade@gmail.com. Please include a brief description of what you're looking for, when you need the items by and your budget.

Custom orders range in price depending on your project. All custom orders will require a 20% non-refundable deposit before your project begins.

Shipping & Delivery

I personally pride myself on extremely fast packaging and shipping times, though I have no control of the speed of delivery.

All items are made and ready to be packaged unless otherwise noted in the description as a pre-order.

Shipping rates can vary depending on your region and are calculated at checkout.

For most orders, shipping is between $6-$8 depending on the size and weight of your package.

Yes, I ship to all 50 U.S. territories and abroad. If you have a mailing address, chances are high I can send you a package.

Returns, Refunds & Repairs

No. Because most of my items are wearables and/or custom, I do not take returns or offer refunds.

I personally check all items for quality before packaging/mailing.

In the event that your box arrives damaged due to mailing, please send a photo of the box and the items along with your order number to onyxandivoryhandmade@gmail.com.

If you break an earring or other piece of jewelry, I may be able to repair it. Please send a photo of the item letting me know what broke and I will do my best to find a solution to fixing it.

If your item can be repaired, you will be responsible for shipping the item to me, any additional materials and return shipping cost.
